Security

Several of the administration functions require users to have certain security privileges in order to use them. The following table lists the administration functions and the COM+ roles that can access them. Users do not require all listed COM+ roles to use a function, they only need to be assigned to one.

To configure security, perform the following:

  1. Expand the nodes of the Component Services snap-in until you locate the required generated application.

  2. Update the roles as required:
