The Generator is the Graphical User Interface (GUI) and generator for creating the Component Enabler C# components from the system definitions.

The Generator uses the Graphical Interface User repository as a common source of Ispec interface definitions and GUI forms. The Generator takes the Ispec interface definitions and GUI forms and produces compiled Java or C# classes for the components and applications.

After the generation process has been completed, the Component Enabler application is ready to be deployed. Component Enabler applications can be deployed in different ways to meet the varied needs of the different client deployment environment. The generated components must be copied to the workstation from which they are used. This might be for example, a Web server or a client workstation. The Generator might fulfil a secondary role as the deployment workstation. Deployment can be completed manually, or automatically by running a batch file at the completion of a generate.
