:OLTP- Command

Use the :OLTP- Administration command to unadvertise a specified service name. This marks the service as unavailable to receive OLTP transactions.

This command has the following form:

:OLTP- service

An unadvertised service no longer receives OLTP transactions. However, other named services within the server (if any) might continue to be advertised and can process OLTP transactions. The application can continue to function as an OLTP client.

For an MCP based application, this command is available to terminals with ODT or CONTROLLER status.

A valid abbreviation for :OLTP is :OLT.
