The Trap service intercepts SNMP traps, filters them, translates them into readable events, and sends them to the Operations Sentinel server.

The Operations Sentinel Trap Agent is installed from the Operations Sentinel release media. You can start and stop the service using the Services menu in the Windows Control Panel.
