You can set the maximum number of days to retain log files for a log. This is the normal number of days log files for that log are retained. When the age of a log file for the log exceeds this number, the file is automatically deleted.
To change the maximum days log files are retained
Select the Log Policies node in the navigation pane, and then select the desired log(s) in the display pane.
In the details pane, in the Maximum property, enter the greatest number of days you want to keep log files for that log. Any changes you make appear in bold until you save them.
Save your changes. If necessary, Operations Sentinel deletes log files until the number you specify is reached. After the changes are applied, the File Count property displays the actual number of files still retained.
