The toolbar is a panel that provides quick access to specific commands. Icons on the toolbar represent commands, such as New View, Open View, Save View, Cut, Copy, Paste, and so on.
By default, the toolbar is docked right below the menu bar. You can undock the toolbar so that it becomes a free-floating window.
To undock the toolbar
Position the cursor over any noncommand area of the toolbar, such as one of the lines between commands.
Press and hold the left mouse button. An outline of the toolbar appears.
Drag the outline to its new location and release the mouse button.
To dock the toolbar
Position the cursor over the title bar of the toolbar.
Press and hold the left mouse button. An outline of the window appears.
Drag the outline to the menu bar and overlap it slightly. When the toolbar is within docking range, the outline of the toolbar changes to the size of a docked toolbar. Release the mouse button.

ToolTips provide a description of each icon. To see the tip, rest the mouse cursor over an icon.
