The hold pane shows messages that are held as the result of ClearPath Plus OS 2200 Autoaction Message System (CP-AMS) automation. A leading pound sign (#) in the place of the message number indicates that the message being held is a read-and-reply message. CP-AMS can automatically remove messages, or you can manually delete them.  

The oldest message is shown at the top of the pane. The hold pane can contain a maximum of 500 messages. Once it is full, OS 2200 Console View ignores additional hold messages.

Use the scroll bars to view messages that are not visible.
