Use this tab panel to customize how you are notified of alarms. You can specify different preferences for each mode of console operation (attended, casual, unattended).

Alarm Notification | Turns alarm notification on or off. Alarm notification is on by default. When alarm notification is on, make sure you select at least one notification method (Display Messages, Flash Title Bar, or Sound Alarm). |
Display Messages | Displays a message box. The default is off for all operating modes. |
Flash Title Bar | Flashes the title bar. The default is on for all operating modes. |
Sound Alarm | Plays a sound file. The default is on for all operating modes. Use the Browse button to select a sound file. |
Sound File | If you selected Sound Alarm, this box displays the name of the sound file that OS 2200 Console View plays when it receives an alarm. |
Browse | Enables you to select the sound file you want to play. |
Clear | Deletes the name of the sound file from Sound Filename box. |
Note: If you select Sound Alarm but do not specify a sound filename, OS 2200 Console View uses the default sound file configured for the workstation. If the workstation does not have a sound card, OS 2200 Console View uses a beep on the workstation's speaker.
