Activating an Autoaction Database for CP-AMS

To activate an autoaction database

  1. Click Automation Control on the Tools menu.

The Automation Control dialog box appears.

  2. Click Activate.

The Activate an Autoaction Database dialog box appears. You might need to wait a few seconds while OS 2200 Console View retrieves the list of available autoaction databases from the Operations Server.

  3. Select a database from the list of available databases and click OK.

OS 2200 Console View fills in the Request, Request Status, and Requested Database fields on the Automation Control dialog box. The Request Status field changes from "In Progress" to "Completed" as the console activates the selected database.

After the console activates the new autoaction database, OS 2200 Console View updates the Current State box on the Automation Control dialog box with the name of the active database, the date and time it was activated, and who activated the database. It also updates the CP-AMS State field on the status bar.

Note: OS 2200 Console View displays the Windows hourglass while it retrieves the list of available autoaction databases from the Operations Server. Press Esc to stop the retrieval of this list.
