Figure 3–1 shows an example of an Operations Sentinel network running on a single Ethernet LAN. It also shows an Operations Sentinel server and three Operations Sentinel workstations connected to the LAN.
The Operations Sentinel server can also act as an Operations Sentinel workstation. In a minimum configuration, you do not need any separate Operations Sentinel workstations. However, separate workstations are recommended for better performance.
