You can use Remote Desktop Connection only for remote desktops to managed Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2022, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2. Remote Desktop Connection is a part of these operating systems.

To use Remote Desktop Connection, the Remote Desktop Connection client must be present on each Operations Sentinel workstation.

To execute the Remote Desktop Connection client program, click Start, Programs, Accessories, Communications, and Remote Desktop Connection.

In the window that opens, click Options to see the full range of options you can specify for Remote Desktop Connection. Click Save As to create an RDP file for use with Operations Sentinel.
