Before deleting the database, Autoaction Database Manager places a copy in the backup directory. To completely remove a database, first delete the database from the list of current databases then delete it from the list of backup databases.
To delete a database
Click Database Maintenance on the Tools menu (or press Ctrl+F4).
The Security Server Selection dialog box is displayed.
To maintain the databases, you must be a member of the SPO Users group on one of the servers in the list. Highlight the server on which you want Autoaction Database Manager to verify your privileges and click OK.
If you are a member of the SPO Users group on that server, the Database Maintenance dialog box appears.
In the System Name drop-down selection list, either select an Operations Sentinel server or enter a new name.
The Backup and Current boxes list the databases that are currently installed and those that are in the backup directory.
Select the database you want to remove from either the Backup or Current list. Click Delete.
Autoaction Database Manager displays status messages in the Results pane. It also adds an entry to the SP-DISTRIBUTE-AMS log file.
Note: While the Database Maintenance dialog box is open, the commands to build, verify, distribute, and dump a database are unavailable.
