When you start editing a .bld file, the Autoaction Database Manager moves the file into a locked state. This helps in preventing another user from editing the same file by displaying a “File in Use” information message. You can also view the “File in Use” status in the bottom right corner of the IDE.
The “File in Use” information message mentions the location path and the domain name of the user who is currently using the file. It also asks for the need of a notification alert when the file is unlocked. You can click Yes to get a notification alert when the file is no longer in use or click No to cancel the operation.
Note: A .bld file can be opened in read-only mode if the file is in a locked state.
