CP-AMS notifies the user of important events in the OS 2200 Console View. These events include database activation and deactivation, and errors that might occur. In Test mode, additional events such as message matches and action execution are logged. Messages are logged to the log on the OS 2200 system with LG keyins.

A message prefix identifies the message as one that was sent by CP-AMS. The identifier helps in finding these messages in a log file. Messages for actions that are specified within conditional constructions indicate the level of nesting.
