RADB Utility

Use the RABD utility to send a reactivate database request to either SP-AMS on the server or each of the OS 2200 Consoles hosted on the server. When the reactivate request is received by SP-AMS or CP-AMS, AMS checks whether the database specified by the request is the same as the active database. If the name of the active database matches the database name in the request, AMS activates the database. RADB displays the results for each database reactivate request.

RADB is intended to be used in tandem with the Distribute utility to force reactivation of the database after it has been distributed.

At the command prompt, enter the following command:

radb [CP-AMS | SP-AMS] <database name> <server name> ...
