A TEXECUTE (transparent execute) action transparently executes an OS 2200 Console View macro file containing a sequence of console keyins (console commands). Each keyin is sent in succession to the host as if it had been entered by the operator in the console window, but was not displayed in the console window. Contrast with the EXECUTE action (see 4.11). The results of the macro keyins are displayed in the console window.

See 4.2 for formatting information. The action-text is the name of the file containing the OS 2200 commands.

The macro file must exist in the folder installation-data-folder\os2200-macros on the Operations Sentinel server. You can create the macro file using the OS 2200 Console View Macro editor or a standard Windows text editor, such as Notepad. The macro file must have the extension “.macro”.
