The EXECUTE action executes an OS 2200 Console View macro file. A macro file contains a sequence of unsolicited keyins (console commands). Each unsolicited keyin is sent in succession to the host as if the operator had entered it in the console window.

The macro file must exist in the folder installation-data-folder\os2200-macros on the Operations Sentinel server. You can create the macro file using the OS 2200 Console View macro editor or a standard Windows text editor, such as Notepad. The macro file must have the extension “.macro”.
