A DISPLAY action displays additional text, as specified by the action text, in OS 2200 Console View. The supplemental message created by this action does not appear in the OS 2200 system log file. The message can be configured to appear in the Operations Sentinel log files. Use OS 2200 Console Manager to configure the logging of DISPLAY actions in Operations Sentinel log files.

When used with a SUPPRESS action (see 4.16), DISPLAY performs message replacement.

These supplemental messages are automatically indented to separate them from normal console traffic.
