An Operations Sentinel server is also known as an Operations Server when it hosts consoles for some or all OS 2200 partitions in a ClearPath Dorado Enterprise System. After you specify the different Operations Sentinel servers that host consoles, you can then remotely manage the consoles hosted by these Operations Sentinel servers from the Operations Sentinel server you are connected to.
Note: Deleting a hosting Operations Sentinel server immediately disconnects all OS 2200 partitions and consoles managed remotely from that server. Deleting an Operations Sentinel server does not affect the consoles or partitions.
To specify the names of the Operations Sentinel servers that host consoles
In Administration mode, click Server Properties on the File menu.
On the Operations Servers tab
To add a server, type its name and click Add.
To remove a server, click the desired server from the list and click Delete.
Click OK.
Only an Operations Sentinel administrator can change the list of Operations Sentinel servers with consoles that Operations Sentinel manages.
