In the Administration mode, the Image node in the navigation pane displays the list of images available on the Operations Sentinel server. You can assign these images to a managed object or managed class to represent the objects in a topology that include the following:
Managed systems and partitions
Components of systems, such as disks, tapes, printers, and so on
OS 2200 consoles
Consolidated Specialty Engines, such as ePortal, JProcessor, QProcessor, and TProcessor
You can also assign these images as the background image of a topology.
Note: The Image node in the Administration mode in the Navigation pane is available only in the Enterprise edition and Departmental edition of the Operations Sentinel product.
Although Operations Sentinel provides default images, your site's Operations Sentinel administrator can customize these images or also can add new images. The default images are as follows:

Note: The maximum size of the icons for classes and sub classes can be 32x32 pixels.
To add a new image
In the Administration mode in the navigation pane, select the Images node to display the available images in the display pane.
Click New Image on the File menu, or right-click in the display pane and select New Image. A new image file is added in the display pane, and you can view the properties of the new image in the Properties tab of the details pane.
Select the Name property in the Properties tab and give a generic name to this image.
Select the newly created image in the Properties tab, select the Image property, and click the ellipsis icon () to add the new image.
The File Open dialog box appears, where you can browse to the location of the image and select the image to be added.
Notes:
You cannot change the value of the following properties:
Image Format
Image Height
Image Width
These properties change automatically when the images are added.
Save the changes.
The new image is added.
To delete an image:
In the Administration mode in the navigation pane, select the Images node to display the available images in the display pane.
Click Delete on the Edit menu, or right-click in display pane and select Delete.
The Delete dialog box appears that prompts “Are you sure you want to delete Image <imagename>?”
Click Yes.
Save the changes.
The specified image is deleted.
