Editing Templates While Defining an Action

While defining an action, you might want to see and edit the property values of the template that the action refers to.

To show the property values of the action template

  1. Select the action in the display pane. The properties for the action appear in the details pane.

  2. In the value field for the Template property, select a template if one is not already associated with this action.

  3. Click the plus sign (+) that appears to the left of the word Template in the details pane. The details pane expands to show all properties defined for the template.

    You can edit the template property values after they are displayed in the property pane.

Note: Any change you make to a template affects all actions that refer to that template in the same alert policy, not just the action from which you made the change.
