Enabling or Disabling an Action

Enabling an action controls whether the action is executed when the triggering event occurs. If you set the value to false, the action is ignored.

When you add a new action, the Enabled property is set to true by default.

To enable or disable an action

  1. In the navigation pane, under the Alert Policies node, expand the desired alert policy.

  2. Expand the Action Lists subnode.

The actions for that action list appear in the display pane.

  3. Select the desired action list.

  4. In the display pane, select the desired action(s).

  5. In the details pane, use the arrow () to change False to True or vice versa in the Enabled property. Any changes you make appear in bold until you save them.

  6. Save your changes.
