Operations Sentinel provides sample external applications and associated launch definitions whose names start with SPO. You can use these external applications and associated launch definitions as they are provided, alter copies of them to suit your specific needs, or use them to provide ideas for your own external applications.
The sample external applications are stored in the data-folder\extapp-scripts folder on an Operations Sentinel server. data-folder is specified during the installation of Operations Sentinel. This folder and its contents are carried forward when a new level of Operations Sentinel is installed.
Note: When you have installed multiple EOM versions and want to point to a particular version of the local EOM Client, then you must update SPO.launchEOM.vbs file. To do this, you must search and uncomment the below line in the SPO.launchEOM.vbs file and update with the existing version of the EOM client.

Note: It is recommended to edit the Application Label under the Properties tab as the Merge Configuration option will overwrite the existing data with the old data and changes the existing Application Label.
It is recommended that you not
edit any external applications and launch definitions whose names
start with SPO. A subsequent installation
of Operations Sentinel can overwrite your changes. Instead make a copy of the external application,
rename it, and make your changes.
