You can specify permissions for each resource policy type (Windows or UNIX/Linux), or for each individual resource policy. Permissions are set using the Security tab in the details pane. The Security tab is displayed when you select, in the display pane,
One or both of the resource policy types. Any changes you make to the permissions of the resource policy type are inherited by any new resource policies you create of that type.
One or more resource policies.
The following permissions can be specified for the Windows or UNIX/Linux resource monitor policy types:
Read — (default) Allows a user to view a resource policy.
Modify — (default) Allows a user to modify an existing resource policy. This requires Read permission.
Create — Allows a user to create new resource policies. This requires Read and Modify permissions.
Delete — (default) Allows a user to delete a resource policy type. This requires Ready and Modify permissions.
The following permissions can be specified on individual resource policies:
Read — Allows a user to view a resource policy.
Modify — Allows a user to modify an existing resource policy.
Delete — Allows a user to delete a resource policy.
