By default, resource monitoring is enabled when the Windows Resource Monitor (WRM) agent or the UNIX/Linux Resource Monitor (ULRM) agent is installed.
If you disable resource monitoring, the WRM or ULRM agent stops monitoring the resources as defined in the current resource monitor policy. Other functionality of the WRM and ULRM agents continue to run, such as the processing of command (CO) event reports from the Operations Sentinel server by WRM and the processing of event reports written to the pipe file.
To disable or enable resource monitoring
In the navigation pane, under the Resource Monitor Policies node, select the resource monitor policy type, either Windows or UNIX/Linux.
In the display pane, select the resource monitor policy.
In the details pane, select the Systems tab and select the managed system in the Distributed column.
On the Action menu, click Disable or Enable.
