Programs external to Operations Sentinel can raise, acknowledge, and clear alerts. You can identify an external alert by checking its application name in the alert details pane. The alerts from external programs are specified by your site or third-party software. Refer to the Operations Sentinel Administration and Configuration Guide for information on specifying these alerts.
