Operations Sentinel lets you raise, acknowledge, and clear alerts using SP-AMS and CP-AMS database automation. Your site specifies these alerts in the AMS databases it develops. An EVENT-REPORT action in a database can raise, acknowledge, or clear an alert when a monitored system sends a particular message. An AMS database alert has the application name that was specified for it in the EVENT-REPORT action.
