Depending on which icon you have selected in the summary pane, the alerts pane displays information about either the alerts that apply to systems in the open zone or the alerts that apply to systems in not in the open zone. The alerts for systems in the open zone are displayed by default. The alerts pane allows you to view information, such as severity and time, about each alert at a glance. From the alerts pane, you can acknowledge and mark alerts as seen. Right-clicking an alert brings up a shortcut menu that contains additional actions you can take, such as launching a remote desktop, displaying or printing the alert details pane, and clearing alerts.
By default, the alerts pane displays the severity, date, time, system, and text of each alert in the pane. It also includes check boxes to acknowledge alerts and to mark them as seen. You can customize the alerts pane to suit your viewing preferences. For example, you can
Add or remove columns and change their order so the information most important to you is displayed prominently.
Sort on any column or combination of columns. For example, you could sort on the time column so the most recent alert or the oldest alert is displayed at the top.
