You can open and save maximum values of resources of a system in the Operations Sentinel : System Report - Set Maximum Values dialog box.
Opening Maximum Values of Resources of a System
To open maximum values that are already set for resources of a system, use the following steps:
In the Operations Sentinel : System Report - Set Maximum Values dialog box, on the File menu, point to Open, and then click From Same System or From Another System. The Open Maximum Values dialog box appears.
If you click From Same System, the systems selected for generating the report whose maximum values are set are listed in the Select the system(s) to open its maximum values: list in the Open Maximum Values dialog box.
If you click From Another System, the systems selected for generating the report and other systems of the same system type whose maximum values are set are listed in the Select a system: list in the Open Maximum Values dialog box.
Select a system from the Select the systems to open its maximum values: list or Select a system: list in the Open Maximum Values dialog box, and click Open.
If you select a system from the Select the systems to open its maximum values: list, the maximum values of resources of the selected system that are saved are read and entered as maximum values of resources of all the systems selected for generating the System Resource report.
If you select a system from the Select a system: list, and click Next, the Select the system(s) to apply the maximum values list appears. You can select a single system from the Select the system(s) to apply the maximum values list.
The maximum values of resources of system(s) are entered in the text boxes beside resources of a system in the Operations Sentinel : System Report - Set Maximum Values dialog box.
Note: If you select Select All in the Open Maximum Values dialog box, then the maximum values of resources that are saved for all the systems selected for generating the System Resource report are read and entered in the text boxes of the Operations Sentinel : System Report - Set Maximum Values dialog box.
Saving Maximum Values of Resources of a System
To save maximum values of resources of a system, use the following steps:
In the Operations Sentinel : System Report - Set Maximum Values dialog box, after entering or editing maximum values of resources of a system, on the File menu, point to Save, and then click For Default Values or As Same System.
The Save Maximum Values dialog box appears.
Select a system from the Select a system to set its maximum values as default values: list in the Save Maximum Values dialog box, and click Save.
If you click For Default Values, the maximum values of resources of the system selected from the Select a system to set its maximum values as default values: list in the Save Maximum Values dialog box is saved as default maximum value for all systems of the selected system type.
If you click As Same System, the maximum values of resources of the system selected from the Select a system to set its maximum values as default reference: list in the Save Maximum Values dialog box is saved as the maximum value of the systems selected for generating the report.
Note: If you select Select All in the Save Maximum Values dialog box, then the maximum values of resources of all the systems selected for generating the report are saved.
