The Data Synchronization feature enables you to sync the data folder between primary and secondary Operations Sentinel servers automatically. This feature is available only from the Administration mode on the Operations Sentinel server.
You can perform the following types of synchronization:
Manual sync: Enables you to perform the sync when required.
Scheduled sync: Enables you to perform the sync at a specified time.
Notes:
For successful synchronization of data, the Operation Sentinel Console must be open on both the primary and secondary servers.
Data Synchronization checks for the compatibility of the version and patch level of the secondary server. The synchronization happens only if the version and patch levels of both primary and secondary servers match.
