Reporting Problems

If you need to report any problem or technical question, please submit a Service Request (CONTACT) or a User Communication Form (UCF) with supporting materials.

One way to provide supporting material is to use the Report Problem utility supplied with Operations Sentinel. Report Problem captures information needed to report problems. The Report Problem facility provides error and trace files, collected from both the Operations Sentinel server and the workstation from which you initiate Report Problem.

To report software problems to Unisys Corporation

  1. Ensure the problem currently appears on your screen.

  2. Click Report Problem from the Tools menu.

    The Report Problem dialog box appears.

  3. Click the appropriate information in the Report Problem dialog box.

    Unless instructed otherwise by Unisys support personnel, select Full as the Report Template to ensure that data pertinent to the problem is not omitted from the problem report.

    Click Help for additional information.

  4. Click Start to initiate creation of the problem report.

    When the report is finished, a dialog box appears giving the location of the report.

You can also initiate the Report Problem facility on the Start menu, by pointing to Programs, Unisys Operations Sentinel x.y.z, Administrative Tools, and then clicking Report Problem.
