The alert applies to a defined system.
A terminal session has been configured for the system.
To open a terminal session from an alert
In the alerts pane, right-click the alert for which you want to open a terminal session.
A shortcut menu appears.
Point to Terminal Session and then click the desired system from the additional menu that appears.
A terminal session to that system opens.
Alternatively, you can open a Terminal Session using the Tools menu in the Alerts window or the Applications menu in the main Operations Sentinel Console window.
Each time you open a terminal session, Operations Sentinel writes a message to the SP-EXTAPP log. This message includes the system name, the time you opened the session, your Windows login, and the process id (pid) of Operations Sentinel Console.
