The following table lists events related to the master/standby status of Service Processors that are reported as alerts to Operations Sentinel.

| IMS Server:170 | The master Service Processor cannot access the standby Service Processor to update persistent data about the state of the server and its partitions. |
| IMS Server:171 | At least one communication path has been restored between the master and standby Service Processors. |
| IMS Server:232 | The Server Control service on the standby Service Processor is not ready to take over management of the server if the master Service Processor fails. |
| IMS Server:233 | The Server Control service on the standby Service Processor is restored to operation and is ready to take over management of the server if the master Service Processor fails. |
| IMS Server:410 | The System Data Sets (SDSs) listed for this alert are required on the standby Service Processor but are not installed there. |
