Using a Filter Policy as a Template for a New One

Saving the current filter policy under another name lets you use the current policy as a template for creating a new one.

To save the current filter policy under another name

  1. In the Windows Filter Policy window, click Save As on the File menu. The Select/Create Filter Policy dialog box opens.

  2. Enter a name for the new filter policy on the text input line.

  3. Click OK.

  4. Click Yes in the verification dialog box to save the new filter policy. The new filter policy becomes the current filter policy, and its name appears in the title of the Windows Filter Policy window.
