Each value in the Enabled column of the Windows Agent Control window indicates whether the corresponding system should forward events to Operations Sentinel as alert event reports.
When you disable the Windows Agent on a Windows system, the agent on that system stops sending alert event reports to Operations Sentinel. Under certain circumstances, you might want to discontinue event reports. For example, you have been receiving numerous reports of a problem, such as disk failure, and you want to stop the reporting until you have corrected the problem.
To disable the Windows Agent on a Windows system
Click the row in the Windows Agent Control window that contains the Windows system whose agent you want to disable.
Click Disable Agent(s) on the Edit menu. The value in the Enabled column changes to No, and the value in the Current column changes to No.
Click Update Selected Agentson the File menu. The value in the Current column changes to Yes.
