Modifying Configuration of an Existing ClearPath OS 2200 Software Series System

To modify configuration of an existing ClearPath OS 2200 Software Series system, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the Administration mode of Operations Sentinel on the server.

  2. On the Tools menu, point to OS 2200 SW SERIES and click on the desired server configuration.

    The ClearPath OS 2200 Software Series system window loaded with the configuration of the selected server appears. This window contains the following three panes:

    • Tree View pane

    • Configuration pane

    • Data pane

  3. From the Tree View pane, select a partition.

    The relevant configuration information will be displayed in the data table present in the Data pane.

  4. To add additional partitions to the system, click + OS2200 Host in the OS 2200 Partition area of the Configuration pane.

    Notes:

    • To delete a partition, right-click on the specific partition in the Tree View pane and select Delete.

    • You can add a maximum of ten partitions.

  5. To add an Operations Server (OPSRV), click + Operations Server in the Operations Server area of the Configuration pane.

    Note: You can add a maximum of two Operations Server. By default, only one Operations Server will be present.

  6. To add a QProcessor, select the desired host in the Tree View Pane and then click + QProcessor in the QProcessor and ePortal area of the Configuration Pane.

    Note: You can add a maximum of four Qprocessors per partition.

  7. To add an ePortal, select the desired host in the Tree View Pane and then click + ePortal in the QProcessor and ePortal area of the Configuration Pane.

    Note: You can add a maximum of two ePortals per partition.

  8. Click OK.

    Note: To view a topological view of the configured objects, click the Click to See Topology View link in the lower left corner.
