To add a new managed object using the wizard
In the Administration mode, expand the Managed Objects node to display the available object classes.
In the navigation pane, select the SAIL class.
Click New Object on the File menu.
A wizard appears and navigates you through the process of configuring the properties of the managed object.
Enter the Name, Server, Network Name, Service Name, and the External Network Name.
The Service Name specifies the service name used by the Operations Sentinel interface. Operations Sentinel uses this name to establish communication with the system. The default Service Name is spo_ping.
When the wizard is complete, enter or modify properties in the details pane that did not appear in the wizard.
If applicable, modify any of the security settings for this object.
Save the managed object so that it becomes available to all users.
To copy an existing managed object
To create a new managed object, you can also copy and modify the properties of an existing managed object. Using an existing managed object to create a new one could save you time by eliminating the need to reenter similar data twice.
