The event filter for an event log enables you to receive alerts for desired events. An event filter is a set of filter conditions that a Windows Resource Monitor policy compares for each managed object you have defined. Consider a condition as a rule. Each “rule” you create allows you to filter the intended event among the rest and get alerts for the same.
