Following are the prerequisites for installing most of the products provided on this ISO image:
You should have administrator privileges to install any of the Windows-based products.
For Operations Sentinel Windows Resource Monitor (WRM), you should
Install VC ++ redistributable 2015-2019(x86) on 32-bit Windows Operating Systems.
Install VC ++ redistributable 2015-2019(x64) on 64-bit Windows Operating Systems.
Microsoft .NET Framework level 4.8 or later installed (included on the release media)
Preconditions for installing Operations Sentinel Server
Before installing Operations Sentinel server or an Operations Server, stop the Operations Sentinel services and ensure that no copies of vsop.exe are running on the server. Vsop.exe is the executable file for the OS2200 logical console, which may be running on the Operations Server. Use the OS 2200 Console Manager to determine the consoles that are hosted on the Operations Server, and then re-host these consoles onto another Operations Server. Alternatively, use the Down (DN) key in to temporarily bring down the consoles after determining the consoles that are running on the Operations Server. Ensure that there is another console available to bring up the consoles later.
Preconditions for installing Operations Sentinel Workstation
Before installing Operations Sentinel workstation, ensure that no copies of vsop.exe are running on the workstation or server.
Notes:
All the preconditions for installing Operations Sentinel server or Operations Sentinel workstation are applicable only if you upgrade your system from an earlier version of Operations Sentinel to a later version of Operations Sentinel.
After installing the Operations Sentinel, restart the Operations Sentinel services and bring up any OS 2200 Consoles that you may have brought down.
