You must perform the installation tasks described here each time you receive a new release of Operations Sentinel. The setup program ensures that the versions of the ISO image documentation and Adobe Reader are compatible and that Adobe licensing rules are followed.
To install the Operations Sentinel product documentation
Click Product Documents from the Installation home screen.
The Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Unisys Operations Sentinel Product Documents x.y window appears.
Click Next.
The License Agreement window appears.
Select the I accept the terms in the license agreement button to proceed with the installation.
Click Next.
The Customer Information window appears.
Enter the appropriate information in the User Name and Organization text boxes to identify the installer of Operations Sentinel.
Select the appropriate button in the Install this application for box: either Anyone who uses this computer or Only for me.
If you select Anyone who uses this computer, this option allows other user accounts to access the product documents. This option is selected by default.
If you select Only for me, this option prevents other user accounts that use (or can use) the same workstation from seeing the application. The application is only visible from the desktop of your user account.
Click Next.
The Destination Folder window appears.
Click Next to install the components in the default folder. Click Change next to the folder to specify a different folder. Clicking change allows you to browse to the folder of your choice.
The default folder is
C:\Program Files\Unisys\Operations Sentinel Product Documentation\spox.y
where x.y is the version number of Operations Sentinel that is being installed.
The Ready to Install the Program window appears, allowing you to review your installation selections.
Click Install.
The Installing Unisys Operations Sentinel Product Documents x.y window appears. The installation starts, and can take several minutes to complete.
After the installation completes, the InstallShield Wizard Completed window appears.
Click Finish.
You must have Adobe Reader installed on your system to view the online documentation.
To view the Operations Sentinel product documentation library
On the Start menu, point to Programs, Unisys Operations Sentinel Product Documentation x.y, (where x.y is the level of Operations Sentinel), and click Product Documentation Index.
Uninstalling the Product Documents
Use the Programs and Features application in Control Panel to remove the desired version of the Product Documents. When complete, the Product Documents is uninstalled and the entry disappears from the Programs and Features window.
