Saving a Log File

From a filtered or unfiltered log file, you can save to a file.

To save the contents of the current Operations Sentinel Log Viewer window

  1. Click Save As on the File menu.

    The Save As dialog box appears.

  2. If desired, accept the default file name supplied, or type a different name for the file to write to.

  3. Is desired, accept the default folder, or navigate to a different folder.

    You can save the log file to any valid folder

  4. Click Save.

    If you have filtered the log file, only the filtered portion is saved to the file.
