Defining a CODESASSN File
An empty CODESASSN file is created in the public data directory when you install the runtime software. You can modify the CODESASSN file using a text editor.
Each line of the file associates a report destination with a printer model, as outlined in the following table:
Value | Size | Description |
---|---|---|
Report destination | 17 | ROC alias; reports set the built-in attribute Glb.Stn to this value. |
Printer model | 10 | Actual name by which the printer is defined on your host in the CODES file. |
There must be at least one space between the values. Entries are case-sensitive.
In addition to defining the CODESASSN file, you must also:
Ensure the printer models and any output control codes are included in the CODES file.
Define each report destination as an alias in ROC. Refer to Modifying a CODES File for more information.
