Notes:
Before accessing an AB Suite application for the first time on Presentation Client, ensure to update the Path environment variable by right-clicking on Computer in File Explorer > Properties > Advanced system settings > Environment Variables > System variables with the path where the JRE is installed on your machine.
The Presentation Client is supported on Oracle J2RE v1.6.0_12 and above.
To access the ROC application using the Presentation Client, perform the following:
Build an AB Suite application, for example Sample, with the User Defined View Generator property set to Presentation Client in the bundle folder Property Pages window.
For example, set the following parameters for the single AB Suite host application as below.
Package Prefix: com.unisys
CE Application Name: Sample
CE bundle folder name: PClient
Import the ROC application that you want to access in Agile Business Suite Developer. For example, you can import the ROCCLR.model.
Note: Since the name of the Windows Runtime ROC system in Agile Business Suite 7.0 is ROC70, the segment name for a ROC application in Agile Business Suite Developer should also be ROC70. If your model displays the segment name as ROC18, you must change the segment name and the ROC Alias name to ROC70.
Generate a bundle of the folder that contains the Ispecs of the ROC application.
Notes:
Ensure that the name of the bundle folder is same as the CE bundle folder for the AB Suite application. For example, PClient.
To generate a bundle folder, you must set all the properties that are required to build an application.
If the default pre-built Presentation client forms for ROC are used, such as, ROC18CE.jar, the user system bundle name must be "Ispecs".
Create a view for the AB Suite and ROC applications using the Runtime Administration Tool.
Refer to Creating Views for more information on how to create a view.
Configure the Presentation Client for the AB Suite and ROC applications.
Refer to the Agile Business Suite Component Enabler User Guide for more information on how to configure the Presentation Client.
Open the Presentation Client and connect to the AB Suite application.
The Select a Screen dialog box is displayed.
Notes:
If you specify an Ispec as the Fireup Ispec in the Segment properties, the application displays the same Ispec instead of the Select a Screen dialog box.
You can access ROC separately by connecting to the ROC application after opening the Presentation Client. To access ROC from the AB Suite application, complete the following step.
Click ROC in the Select a Screen dialog box to access the ROC application.
Note: If the application opens with the Ispec specified as the Fireup Ispec, select System > Select Screen and click ROC to access the ROC application.
