If the report terminates unexpectedly during initiation, Presentation Client displays the :RUN administration command used to initiate the report.

If the report terminates during execution, the :RUN command is not displayed.

To attempt recovery of the report, reissue the command. You can make two attempts to recover the report. If parameter information was included with the :RUN command, you must include the information with the new command.

If the application is using extended report recovery after normal recovery, the report may be restarted using the saved recovery information. Use the following administration command (refer to Report Administration Commands for more information):

:RUN report [RECOVER key ] [ device ] [TR] [PA params]

Use the administration command :REP [RECOVER] to obtain a value for key. Refer to Running Asynchronous Reports from a Command Prompt Window for more information about other options.
