HUB is a Unisys proprietary protocol that enables Agile Business Suite applications to communicate. It also enables Agile Business Suite applications to communicate with legacy Enterprise Application Environment applications.
Automatic entries between applications are referred to as external automatic entries. External automatic entries enable communications between Runtime for Windows Operating Systems and:
Other Runtime for Windows Operating Systems on other Windows servers.
Applications in ClearPath MCP, UNIX, and ClearPath OS 2200 environments, using TCP/IP.
Notes:
In the event of a system failure, all transactions that are part of external automatic entries are fully recovered when you resubmit the transaction that initiated the external automatic entry.
External automatic entries using VPN (Virtual Private Network) are not supported.
If an Ispec is specified as Automatic Entry Capable, it can receive data from internal automatic entries (from within the current application database), external automatic entries (from another Agile Business Suite-generated database), or through the screen layout.
