To add a system to the configuration, perform the following:
Either right-click the root node and select New, or select the root node and click the Add toolbar button.
Enter the name of the new system in the displayed dialog box.
Click OK.
A new node is added for the system configuration. A system configuration defines the following parameters for a single host application. The first four parameters listed in the table specify the location of the Java class files. Using the examples from the table would give “http://webserver.domain.com/forms/com/unisys/sample/all”.
Parameter Field | Description | Parameter |
---|---|---|
Component URL | Specifies the URL of the package directory on the Web server, which is the location of the generated Java classes, and any associated images. For example, http://webserver.domain.com/forms. This parameter is used in conjunction with the Download Destination parameter, which defines the location to which the files are downloaded. | componentURL |
Package Prefix | Specifies the package prefix for the Java classes. For example, com.unisys. | packagePrefix |
Application Name | Specifies the name of the system on the host. For example, sample. | applicationName |
Bundle Name | Specifies the name of the bundle to use for this application. For example, all. | bundleName |
Server View | Specifies the name of the Remote Access Server view used to connect to the host. For example, sampleview. This parameter is case sensitive. | serverView |
Server URL | Specifies the protocol, server, and port number used to connect to the host system (in that order, separated by colons). For example, xratl:<hostname>:2889. Note: If you want to use RATL over TLS 1.2 to have a secure connection, the Server URL must be specified in this format “x-<protocol>:<hostname>:<port>”, where protocol is ratlssl and the port must be configured on the MCP machine for ratl TLS 1.2.For example, x-ratlssl:ECCSJ:2009 | serverURL |
Station Name | Specifies the unique name, which identifies the server used to connect to the host. | stationName |
Disable Connect Dialog | If true, bypasses the Open a Session dialog box. This should only be used if all connection parameters have been set, that is:
The default value is false. | disableConnectDialog |
Auto Connect | If true, enables immediate connection to the server when the application is started. This parameter is only valid if Disable Connect Dialog is also set to true. The default value is false. | autoConnect |
Auto Shutdown | If set to true, Presentation Client is shutdown without any user prompts when a session is closed. | autoShutdown |
Connection Mode** | Specifies the connection mode to use. Possible values are:
The default value is PCE. | connectionMode |
Disable Login Dialog | If true, bypasses the Login dialog box. This parameter should only be used if the Login parameters, User Code and Password, are required and have been set. | disableLoginDialog |
Support Image from WDP | If true, the images are downloaded using the WDP facilities on the host system. The images are bitmap files. If false, the images are downloaded from the Web Server. The images are .gif, .jpg, or .jpeg files. The default value is false. | imagesFromWDP |
Default Image Type | Specifies the image file extension to use if none is specified (.gif, .jpg, or .jpeg). The default value is JPG. | defaultImageType |
User Defined Icon | Specifies the name and location of the icon file to be displayed on the title bar, and any child windows, when the session to the system is open. The file can be a .gif, .jpg, or .jpeg file. | icon |
User Defined Title | Specifies the title to display in the title bar when the session to the system is open. Information regarding the current form and view are appended to any text specified. | title |
Data Masking Enabled | If true, data should be masked in the log file at runtime for those attributes that have the property, EnableMaskDefinition set to True. | DataMaskingEnabled |
**The Connection Mode parameter controls how the client appears to the system, by setting the values of the variables Agile Business Suite Glb.Style and Glb.GUI. The Connection Mode parameter is implemented for all Agile Business Suite platforms except Windows. Setting the Connection Mode parameter results in the following values for Glb.Style and Glb.GUI:
Mode | Value | Glb.Style | Glb.GUI |
---|---|---|---|
PCE | 0 | ’NOFORM’ | ’Y’ |
NOF | 1 | ’NOFORM’ | ’N’ |
Component Enabler | 2 | ’ACTIVELINC’ | ’N’ |
