GUI Forms

The version checking of GUI Form files is done by comparing the date/time stamp of the local file with the version on the Web server.

The client application (for example, Presentation Client or Visual Basic Client) compares the local version of a GUI Form with the version on the Web server the first time it is accessed during a session. If the local version is out of date or if it does not exist on the user's workstation, the latest version is downloaded from the Web server.

Subsequent access to the same GUI Form during the session uses the local version without comparison to the Web server.
