Adding a Project to an Existing Model

To create a project by attaching to an existing AB Suite Standard mode model or an AB Suite User Experience mode model, perform the following:

  1. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Project.

    The New Project dialog box appears.

  2. In the Project Types pane, expand Agile Business Suite, and then click Applications.

  3. In the Templates pane, select Attach To An Existing Model.

  4. In the Name box, enter the project name.

  5. In the Location box, enter the path or browse to the location where you want to store the new project.

  6. Click OK.

    The Attach To An Existing Model wizard appears.

  7. From the Server Name list, select the SQL server.

  8. From the Database Name list, select the database name.

  9. Click Next.

    The project creation confirmation message appears in the wizard.

  10. Click Finish.

A project file, with a .smproj extension, is created in the specified location. You can view the project through Solution Explorer, Class View, or Object Browser.
