Input_Date is a read-writable built-in ispec and event attribute that is set to the date on which the transaction initiated. Its value is derived from that present in the ispec or event buffer, rather than from the date of transmission.

Input_Date is accessible in all ispec logic (but not in reports). It is also included in output usage event records.

Input_Date takes the format specified by the segment's DateFormat property.
