The Glb.FileInfo built-in segment attribute is not supported on applications deployed to Windows. It is valid only for MCP-based Report logic.
Glb.FileInfo is used as a flag in Reports that use the Report Output Control system (ROC). It applies to Direct Reports only.
The setting of Glb.FileInfo explicitly controls print file attributes only (not extract file attributes). This is to control the overwriting of the print file attributes by attributes such as Glb.Title and Glb.SaveDays.
If Glb.FileInfo is set to Y, the values are entered using file equation, and values of attributes (which would otherwise be used to control the output files) are ignored. This is the default value for Reports initiated through the Report Initiation Program (LINC/RIP).
If Glb.FileInfo is set to N, the values of attributes are used, and any print file file-equate information is ignored. By default, the value for Reports is initiated by the Run command or :RUN colon command.
